Last week ETN Focus Workshops made their debut in Milan – the cosmopolitan heart of the most affluent area in Northern Italy.
Over the two days of 2-3 May, the boutique agent fair brought together international education providers and selected local student recruitment agents to gain fresh knowledge of the current Italian outbound student market, enjoy a variety of exclusive stress-free networking activities and lay the foundations of fruitful future business cooperation.
On the first weekend of April 2017, for a second consecutive year, the Holiday Inn hotel in the beautiful city of Naples became home to ETN Focus Workshops.
While last year the event’s main focus was PON, the EU-funded study abroad programme for Italian high school groups, this year focus was expanded to also cover INPSIEME and ITACA – the other two major study abroad funding opportunities available to Italian students within secondary education.
Throughout September, ETN Focus Workshops explored the emerging region of Latin America for a second consecutive year, this time not just in one, but three strategic locations – Ecuador, Peru and Chile.
Latin America is one of the world’s most important markets for outbound student mobility, and is expected to become the third largest global region for international higher education recruitment by 2035.
On the 1st and 2nd of April, ETN organized the first Focus Workshop on PON, the study abroad scholarship programme for Italian high school groups funded by the Italian Ministry of Education, recently extended to all of Italy’s 20 regions.
The event took place in the beautiful city of Naples, where educators from Europe (UK, Malta, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Bulgaria) met with headmasters and teachers from 30 Italian high schools in a familiar and warm atmosphere. The school representatives came from the Puglia, Basilicata, Campania, Calabria and Sicilian regions.
Guayaquil became home to the first ETN Focus Workshop that took place on September 21st and 22nd 2015, following major reforms in the Ecuadorian education system. Bringing together educational institutions from around the world (Canada, France, Spain, Columbia and Ecuador) to meet with local recruitment consultants, schools and government officials, the event included industry presentations, one-to-one meetings, group discussions and networking dinners at the prestigious Wyndham Hotel.
On 28-29 October we hosted the first ETN Focus Workshop In Germany.
The event took place in the beautiful Crowne Plaza Potsdamer Platz hotel, which became our home for two days of exciting presentations, busy one-to-one meetings and the level of networking opportunities only ETN Focus Workshops can offer.
